May 19, 2009 6 - 8 pm - Abigail Ransonet will give us a tour of Abacus Data Exchange, which offers web hosting, dynamically configurable virtual servers and a range of other services. She will explore some of the possibilities for developers and take us on the insider tour of the facility. Light refreshments will be served.

This meeting will be held at the Travis Center at 110 Travis St., Lafayette, LA, in the Oil Center.

Giveaways and discounts!

Adobe has once again provided a CS4 Suite package for giveaway, and we will draw for it at our June meeting. You get a raffle ticket for that drawing just for attending any of our upcoming meetings! And to set the tone (and keep in practice), we raffle something of interest at every meeting, books, t-shirts, etc.

Also, there is great news regarding User Group Member discounts from Adobe. Adobe is offering a 20% discount on all Adobe products in the North America online Adobe store, through May 31, 2009. You will need a special code to use the discount... get details from UGM James Edmunds at any upcoming meeting between now and the end of the discount offer.
