How to Rescue Your Website from your iPhone

Update 3.23.2010: We have added the PDF of the presentation for those who missed the meeting or were there and would like to review the info. Thanks!

You're at the airport baggage carousel watching the identical black bags circle around and whip out your iPhone for a quick check of your email... and Yikes! Someone's attached a photo that needs to be swapped into his company's web site, and of course it needs to be done right away!

No need to haul out the laptop and hunt up a connection for these or similar pesky web maintenance chores, there are iPhone apps that make it quick and easy to make changes to your web site, and we're not talking just about desktop remoting.

James Edmunds will give a review of apps that allow you to work on a web site from the palm of your hand at the next meeting of the Acadiana Adobe User Group, Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2009, 6-8 pm, at Graham Group Interactive, 2014 West Pinhook Road, Suite 210, Lafayette, LA.

SOFTWARE RAFFLE

Adobe has provided a CS4 Suite package which we will raffle at our June meeting, and just by attending the meeting in February, you get a ticket entered into the raffle.

Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you!

James Edmunds's Gravatar I realize now that this headline/title could be interpreted as a response to the danger that your iPhone might be attacking your web site! Just to be clear, this is about using iPhone apps to get into your web site for emergency edits. Or, for that matter, any edits!
